Archival Spirits specializes in aperitif and digestif wines. The mission is quite specific - to produce rare and otherwise forgotten beverages for contemporary drinkers. After several years consulting winemaking manuals, botany journals, and cocktail recipes from the turn of the past century, we are on the cusp of releasing two products.
Adapted from turn of the century Provencal farmhouse recipes, our Vin d’Orange is a bitter aperitif that combines aromatic white wines, seville oranges, and a quantity of botanicals. Our Uvamaro is the translation of a Piemontese digestivo discovered deep within the archive of Italian winemaking, featuring immature walnuts, an array of alpine botanicals, and pinot noir.
